How to Clean a Clutch Purse

Whenever You Want To Make A Stunning Fashion Statement, This Bright Colors & Bold Patterns Clutch Purse Will Be Your Choice. For basic cleaning, you can use common household items to refresh your clutch.

Cleaning the Whole Clutch

Make sure that the clutch isn’t made with cardboard inserts that will be damaged by water. Fill the bin with cold water and add 1 tablespoon of mild detergent to the water.

Submerge the clutch in the water and let soak for two hours.

Remove the clutch from the water. Blot away the excess water with a towel, taking care not to rub the satin so that it doesn’t fray or stretch out of shape. Hang in a well-ventilated area and let dry.

Small Spots and Stains

Stir 1 tablespoon of baking soda into a 1/2 cup of cold water. Continue stirring until all of the baking soda is dissolved.

Use a cotton ball to dab a small amount of the baking soda solution onto the stained spots of your clutch.

Blot the spot dry with a fresh cotton ball. Let air-dry completely.

Warning

Don’t wring the clutch out to speed up drying. Wringing wrinkles the satin permanently.

Don’t use hot water to clean satin. Hot water stretches the satin out of shape and may cause the dye to fade.

Although spot-cleaning is often effective, cleaning the whole item prevents water spots from appearing.
